I believe therapy is a place to slow things down, become curious about what we're feeling, and look beneath the surface of the stories we tell ourselves. I work with a variety of individuals and couples struggling with diverse issues, including those in relationships looking to create deeper understanding and intimacy, men navigating the challenges and transitions of life, and creative people struggling with balancing their art and their day-to-day existence.
Â
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that change doesn't always begin with having the right answer. I offer you a chance to have your presenting issue looked at from many different ways by using an integrative approach that draws from such modalities as ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy,) CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems.)

As a therapist with many years of experience supporting me, I mine my own life to meld with therapeutic ideas around inclusion, curiosity and non-judgment. Years as an artist and businessman had sometimes complicated my own self-image, meaning and purpose. Along with this, fatherhood and marriage had at times exposed me to transitions I may not have been ready for but had to undergo, nonetheless. I've experienced the joys and complications of relationships, the responsibilities of caregiving, the losses that come with loving people deeply, and the uncertainty—and possibility—of beginning again. I have learned there is usually something beneath the surface. Let's take a look together. I look forward to connecting with you and can offer a free 30-minute consultation to see if we are good fit for working together.
