I’m passionate at supporting disenfranchised populations, specifically queer identifying people and BIPOC folx and have found working with and for my community to be a liberating, affirming, and empowering experience as a clinician and social worker.
I’ve worked with diverse populations since including men, women, veterans, adolescents, neurodiverse teens and adults, highly traumatized populations, schizoaffective disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, and personality disorders. I’ve worked with QTBIPOC individuals and provided identity affirming care for those I work with.
It’s challenging to navigate personal struggles, what we’re exposed to regularly in the world, our own identities, and traumas. I think the basis of practice is always self-compassion and authenticity. You can extend kindness and grace to yourself and allow a healing space in your life by asking for help.
