Identity often plays a significant role in our mental health in more profound ways than we can imagine. For a lot of us, we can feel very affirmed in our identities or marginalized, alienated, or excluded depending on the spaces we walk into. I am passionate about supporting disenfranchised populations, specifically the LGBTQIA+ community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual +) and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color) communities, as well as those who are experienced in and/or interested in non-monogamy. I have found working with the communities I closely identify with can be a liberating, affirming, and empowering experience as a clinician and social worker. 

For therapy, I take a strengths-based approach, foster self-compassion, and encourage authenticity. I help my clients extend kindness and grace to themselves to foster a space of healing. It all begins with asking for help.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor Focus on Gender Studies at CSUN which led me to appreciate the overlap of mental health and personal lived experience through a sociological lens. I then decided to pursue my Master’s Degree in Social Work there as well. Since undergraduate school, I’ve worked with diverse populations and those struggling with depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, trauma, for approximately 6 years.
